Maurice and I recently caught one of the Democratic hopefuls on "Meet the Press." His name is Howard Dean. I was impressed by his stance on the issues and his ability to communicate his vision. Recently governor of Vermont, Dean probably is a long shot due to Vermont's size and the small amout of money he's raised, but I was gladdened to see a politican raise real issues about the war and our values. Of course, I don't know too much about him. More will come out during the election.

I am working on a new log system from Blogger. My old Log pages can be found here.
Interesting chart I found on Momus' Web site. It's from the Economist and charts the countries in the world along rational/traditional and survival/self-expression values. America has a very strange place. I suppose we're a frontier country and that may be one reason we're still so traditional yet prize self-expression so much.
I was checking out Momus because we're going to Berlin in April even though I'm rather concerned with this impending war and the treatment an obvious American like myself may receive.
