Bush unveiled his budget this week and we can all get ready for the future $2.4 trillion shortfall projected by the Congressional Budget Office over the next 10 years. Does any one care about this? Well, they should, especially those of us who won't retire for 30 years or more. The Chronicle has this say to about the economic impact of this deficit.
And putting the budget in terms we can understand, True Majority presents this little movie featuring oreo cookies. It's a bit hokey but useful to understand just how much we really spend on defense.
And it's great to know that CBS will air the Janet Jackson "wardrobe malfunction" (gross manipulation) but they won't televise this ad from moveon.org that explains what the budget deficit will do to our country.
